i've broken my nose four times. i've been detained for skateboarding on the mayor's front porch-- the mayor came out and told the cops to leave me alone. i've been suspended more times than i can count. i've kissed best friends that became enemies that became best friends again, and i'd do it again in a heartbeat. i've lied to the people i care the most about. i've made things up to hurt people. i've switchstanced a flipside to heelpop-- twice. i've made friends with people all over the world. i've watched people die. i've written thousands of pages of writing that no one will ever see. i've listened to secrets and i've never told a soul; how many people can say that? i've written songs. i've never smoked a cigarette in my life. i've tried to play guitar more times than i can count. i've made a deal with god, then renegged. i've been a horrible person, but i think i've made that up. i've had the thing that made me the happiest ruined by someone that doesn't know that i exist because of one girl's lies. i cried when i watched one of my favorite bands play for the last time, but i smiled when their lead singer and my friend managed to come back with something better. i've written on walls in my school with markers, spray paint and pencil. and for sixteen amazing months, i had the best girl anyone could ask for.
