What do you have? Nothing.
I have the power now. And what do you have? Nothing.
I've plotted, I've planned, I've thought, and now it comes to this.
I hold the key. NOT YOU. It's my turn now.
Now I hold the key, in the form of a metal casing, with a led tip,
and forty five grains of magic dust.
And what do you have? Nothing.
For years I've sat, small, shaking; sitting on the side lines.
What did I have? Nothing.
Ohh now the tables have turned my friend!
Now I see, dreams can come true.
It's my time to shine.
And for a new light to turn on, one must diminish.
So now, I bid you farwell.
Thank you for all you have done.
All the inspiration, all the secrets, and all the scars.
Good bye.
Sincerely yours,
Your shadow.

Dear Shadow,
I have received your letter, and have acknowledge that you are a formidable opponent and should not be taken lightly.
Though I’d have you know, you can not beat me.
You say magic dust, lead, and metal, is your key?
Though highly disrespectful, I laugh at your idea.
I must ask, how did it come to this?
We were best mates! We did everything together.
We shared secrets, we were interconnected through a bond that no one, could ever understand.
Then it comes to this. Why?
I do miss you shadow, but do not take my compassion as weakness.
Because if you stand in my way; I will crush you; you will die; I will be
Friend less.
I await your next letter,
And I expect it to be a plea for surrender, and you begging for forgiveness.
This is all for now.
Sincerely,
Sanity.

Dear fear,
I thank you for your allegiance. I’m sure it would be very difficult to do this without you.
Though I am sure this will come to a success I fear that curiosity will be our down fall, if anything.
Besides that, there is something that we must speak about though.
I remember when you, “turned?” on your former partnership; and I must stress that if turn to your old ways I will make you fear your greatest misconception.
Again, I thank you for your pledged sanctity and look forward to the coming time where we can put this into action.
Sincerely yours,
Shadow.

I like how the repetition of "nothing" sets a definite tone throughout th e piece. Also, clever ending! +1
