Come and drink sweet life
Dive and lose yourself in me
It’s safe
Forget my rough scales
And the metallic taste, it’s in your head
Come to our secret spot
Let me take your troubled dreams
They talk about me in guilty whispers
Cruel lies about the poison
And the damage, but they’re just panicky,
Flighty creatures, you know better
I’m not sick, these waters
Are clear and smooth
You can wait a little longer
You can linger at my side
Come and drink here
You’ll be refreshed here
And besides
It’s not like you have a choice.
