Darkness In The Mind

untitled

A sinful deed Is monstrous greed; People die in their own minds, They can't help to want to turn back time: Eyes watching and mouths smiling While people are judging and lying; The world coming to an end, Because your worst enemies are your best friends. The sun goes down, it's dark You hear the fire spark, People are yelling out loud, But they aren't making a sound: You feel so helpless Then your surroundings turn into a bliss; Peaceful all around, The real scene can't be found. What's hidden away Is never meant to stay, The truth is revealed, But your lips were always sealed.

I'm not so good with poetry, but I get a feeling from this, and I really like it. Especially the last verse.

It seems to be about phonies and whatnot I think. Things look ok on the surface but there's stuff going on underneath. Hm. I shall come back later and look closer.
