Promises

Remember when we made those promises to ourselves when we were younger? How we would never become the people that hurt our feelings and made us cry. And what about the promises we made to each other? My personal favorite is, "I'll love you forever." But with time, it seems we become the person we promised never to be, and we end up, not loving, but hating each other. And because I never want to be that person, and because I will always love you...I'm not promising anything.
