What we seek in life
Is what gives us breath
We gain truth and knowledge
From what was sought
When there is nothing to lose
There is nothing to mourn
But if we’ve lost nothing
There is nothing to be gained
What was lost makes us search
When there is nothing, then we’re lost
From knowledge, we gain truth
But if the truth we don’t know
Than nothing has been gained
And we have lived for nothing
Then our life has been lost

A square of experience in a corner of the world
Is alive and exerts an energy of its own
One side, plus one side, plus one side, plus one
Equals a whole in its self and
An answer to the query
Of the fundamental understanding
Of the universe of men
Alone it pulses, it beats in time
Possessing a place for its self in the past
Existing, influencing all that it touches
Without it, we’re left short of seizing the whole
With it, we’re driven to build even more
Onto this world and the mosaic of time
It reaches and searches with magnetic force
To couple with a new figure equal in sides
The joining is electric and sparks something different
The process, it grows, expounding, multiplying
The neoteric it devours to feed its addiction
Nothing can stop this voracious force of expansion
But no thing can cause it to go on forever
With each extra tile, the novel reaches its close
And the depiction is distinguished in the chronology of creation
A distinct whole is left, the culmination of squares
A picture of life
Two others like this.
