first text's title, or subtitle

She think of that razor, Caressing her skin, Thinks of the bite, That cuts out her sins, She sees the glimmer of silver, The way it could slit her wrist, The lovely reality, Of feeling something besides mist, She pictures the edge, Cutting in deep, The knife’s nightmare, Making the blood seep, She can imagine the way it feels, The way the scar would look, It wouldn’t just be fiction, Like in a movie or a book, The marks would show, The whole world would be able to see, That this broken little girl, Honestly can’t handle reality, She depends on a knife, Something sharp and sick, Her life feels twisted, Like a candle wick, Her eyes swim in tears, The water flows over, Just another night of breaking, She fights to stay sober, She knows where the razor is, Sleeping safe and sound, Waiting to be awakened, Her heart starts to pound, She shakes under the covers, Her mind running fast, This black painful night, Is just like the last, She tries to stop crying, Tries to get a grip on herself, She knows cutting isn’t right, It’s not good for her health, But she wants to see the blood flow, She wants to see red now, She wants to see the droplets, She wants to see her skin bow, Her pale white skin, She wills it to be stained crimson, No one would care, Because no one ever listens, Her hair is in knots, From her trying to rip it out, She’s fighting desperately, She doesn’t want to go down this route, She clings to her blankets, A war going on inside her head, She prays that these urges will end, Since she’s filling with dread, She closes her eyes, And takes a deep breath, She can’t do it, she won’t do it, Otherwise nothing will be left, She’s given her all, And they left her with nothing, But this won’t stop her, She’s going to keep on breathing, She’s going to live, She’s not going to wish to die, She’s going to smile, She’s not going to cry, She’s throwing away the knife, The razor, every single blade, And now she crawls back into her bed, Loving and content with the decision she has made.
