i had a dream allow me to set the scene, just close your eyes- think different place think different time. i was heading north, freedom on my mind dreaming of a better place, a better time. i think of all that came before and all the million different lives that might've braved this path that i walk now who made it through, and who bowed out and their reasons- one and all resonate with me tonight a world of different histories seen through a single pair of eyes. i try to figure out the formula that tells you if it's worth it to live and fight for something more or just give in and try to score- anything- to just forget
