Seasons

untitled
The autumn leaves, the cooler breeze..
Washes away summer with delicacy.
The time ticks by, as another leaf falls..
Tumbling, drifting, it has died.
Is the death of beauty, the passage to flight?
Reminescence is cool, crisp, and bitter
like the winter
yet it is warm, and soft..
like the summer
Rays of sunlight filter down,
bright, beautiful, life-giving
The flutter of delicate wings run away
with the summer,
tossing around autumn's leaves,
the remains of beauty
Euphoria flows like a trickling stream,
slowly warming,
basking in the sun's heat
Chiming, soft, quick,
like the vibrations of a hummingbird's wing beats
is a heart
Overwhelming complexity drifting with the summer,
then fading with the leaves of autumn,
then long gone by the winter..
Life leaves beauty as the daylight in a heart fades,
it tumbles and it drifts,
until it has completely gone away
Time passes by,
demonstrated by changing colors
in the sky
Seasons are changing,
winds run quickly by
The hummingbird with the wingbeats of a heart
hums its way away from those winter winds..
There's a heart that's living in the summer,
waiting for life again
The heart will soon realize the time has come
for a new season to begin
Quickly fading is summer,
chased away by cooler winds.
