untitled

The mask she wears, hides her pain with a simple smile. She smiles away the pain day by day. Secretly at night she cries, & with her head down she says the prayer, the prayer that one day her life will end and when it does, she'll die beside her true friend. & her eyes will close with the ever lasting image of her true love. As her tear drop slides down her cheek, she prepares her mask. Nobody will see me cry she says, nobody will see this pain. & with that she drifts off to sleep, hiding the pain, losing today. unable to enjoy life, she sleeps. her eyes closed. She wears a frown on her face. Her pain her disgrace. By looking into her eyes, you can see, shes desperately searching for herself. trying to grasp what she cannot have. trying to rip up the mask. but what she fears is her own heart. will it get torn apart?
