Your blood shot lips lisp, with horror
while creepy eyes search your body.
The darkness isn't that scary
but the noise is. Because even in
the dark you can hear them speak.
They're out for a kill, a small
steal of a little girl out for good.
Your stillness displays your thoughts,
dear. But still with every creak,
you shake.
Will they, or won't they?
That is the question.
Not a question of if you're ready
to die, but of when it will happen.
