She cried
And she cried
Until the Niagara Falls was jealous, tumbling its water upon the competitive rocks.
She laughed
And she laughed
Until the mountains threw avalanches, cascading a rage of competitive snow.
Then she ran
She ran through the clogged air and filled her lungs with past as she searched for clear oxygen
Searched for a future.
After hours of laughing and crying and running she stopped.
She waited.
She turned around and saw the clear air
She saw it
“Sit back,” it said, “I‘ll let you be my everything.”
