What they do, When the clouds hide the sky - They sit in the rain Whilst they watch rivers cry When you stare for too long, The sun stings your eyes. Would you laugh at the moon If it came out too early? No, You'd welcome its shine For not stinging your pupils, Not burning your tears With such terrible lies.. Or highlighting fears With a beam of lightyears, For the sun travels fast And the moon doesn't know So it lingers and holds on And travels quite slow. Rivers cry in the rain. You can lie in the sun. But the moon doesn't know Soon it will know.
