Did you dance off the pages of a fiction book?
Can you see out of the sapphires you took?
Yeah I think so,
Because you asked me,
"Why oh why cutie pie
can't you look me in the eye?"
I say, pretty baby
"They're windows to my soul,
And no one has seen that before."
But just the way you pressed your body
Against mine like a puzzle piece,
Electrifying me,
Numbing me and becoming one with me.
I look into those sapphires,
And realize that I should've all along.
