Hurtful Words

The words were shear pain
They cut like a knife,
They made me go insane.
Why did you say it?
Did you think it would just go away?
That it wouldn't hurt one bit.
Now I feel betrayed,
Why didn't you leave,
You shouldn't have stayed.
This event ended in shame,
Just on my part
I have no one to blame.
When I took the blade to my wrist,
Cutting a little at a time,
I thought of my list,
I could've blew it all away,
Everything I have accomplished,
Just becasue I wanted you to stay!
