untitled

(System disrupted) See the notebook on your desk: Black ink staining scribbles that scream useless And an anxious pen clenched in straining fingers Turn the text into an itchy mass of symbols-- A failed attempt to burn the infection out of your chest And fight back the cancerous leech that repulses The black ooze that mingles in the puss and blood And sets its roots down in the cavity that held your heart; Feel it spread the ugly wings of despair across your skin Discard the darkness Discard the shell Brave crusader, see your limbs twitch with maddening excitement And slam your palms on the wood to curb it.

That's quite some imagery there.

A very new and foreign approach to a common situation: writing poetry to stay awake in a boring class. +1

And, claimed.
