Rage against the pulpit

untitled
Time is constant and your mind is infinite
Where faith is fallible reason may reign
To let holy edict dictate is to ban free thought rights
To give credence to nonsense magicians feign
Go ahead and buy the crap the preacher shovels
When he digs into his bible he uses both your hands
Since the days of solar worship he has sold us our own hovels
He speaks with poison in his teeth and drinks the water from our lands
The mathematics are not adding
There's no such thing as hell
Your religions more addicting
Then any form of pill
Who demands their ten percent and claims a seventh of your time
Promises you gold and eternity if you languish before death
Orders you to kill and claims to absolve you of your crime
He speaks the word of god with sin upon his breath
When you try to study all his machinations steady
You'll find the contradiction contained within the verse
Behind closed doors in board rooms false prophets will make ready
Restart the inquisition and fuel up the hearse
The mathematics are not adding
There's no such thing as hell
Your religions more addicting
Then any form of pill
Three others like this.
