Mirrors

Mirrors, reflecting, revealing,
my every little flaw.
A nick, a scratch,
a broken shard,
and only swirling dark confusion beyond.
But one...
One mirror holds your visage,
meticulously detailing you
with all the beauty
that I held so dear.
I reach out to you, through
the reflecting glass,
but it shatters as I knew it would.
After all, you are a piece of me.
A piece that is broken and sharp,
and cuts deep when I try to hold it,
because I let it fall.
I let it break.
I let you go.
And now I bleed,
bleed with my breaths,
bleed with my tears,
and all of it for you.
Mirrors...
broken like my heart.
And I only hurt more the
more I try to pick up the pieces,
the broken pieces of the
broken mirror, inside
my broken heart, that loved you so.

Very nice, this is somewhat unrelated, but props for using the word 'visage'.
I did like this one.
