untitled

She was just a girl Waiting on the bus like me But I noticed her I thought of saying “Hi, my name's Jack, what is yours?” But I didn't dare The bus came and stopped People got on and off and on The girl took a seat Up front, I could see Her reading a magazine From where I sat, and I wanted to know What she was reading about But before too long She got off again But left the magazine there So I picked it up Something told me to Get off and give it to her But I was too late She was just a girl Riding on the bus like me But I noticed her

What is it with me and buses? Either way, this is just a quick one I wrote, sparked by this: [18:50] <galanteeshowman> i wonder if i could write a whole story in haiku [18:50] <cyanide> That would be interesting. [18:51] <galanteeshowman> that's a challenge [18:51] <cyanide> It's like a prompt almost! "Wrtie a whole story in Haiku!" [18:51] <galanteeshowman> tis!

I don't know what to say - even if it was a prompt, I loved it. Made me want to laugh just a little bit. :)
