Thumbing through old photographs is a great way to bring back all those memories you've push aside.

Out at the beach. Out in the sun. Having a quiet party inside.

These old photographs of us when we were young makes me wish things had never changed.

I see the people we used to be. My, how we look so strange.

And though time has taken it's toll, and none of us dare go back,

I miss you now more then ever before, but I wont face you for what I lack.

The girl in the photos is the one you fell in love with.

The one with the over-sized shoes.

The nappy hair.

The out-dated purse.

With catch phrase over used.

The girl that wore a scarf everyday of the year. The one with way too many bracelets.

The one with bright pink blush on pale white skin, who, when she smiled, she never faked it.

The girl that kissed you on your very first date, and wore the most unusual things.

Like frilly pink skirts over dark purple pants. The girl you called "amazing".

She never cared what people said about her. She never stopped to fight.

She was always able to make you smile. She was an interesting sight.

But today that girl is no more. And I don't dare cross your path. I'm not the girl you used to love.

I'm the one too scared to go back.

Two others like this.
