The rating'll now be updated whenever there's a new comment (and as a side effect, so will the no. comments stat). You'll notice that one of the hyphens becomes a tilde sometimes, this is to denote a half.

Old piece average ratings now works too...

As to how it works, it just takes the average of all the ratings.

Hm. Okay, the journal entries seem to be bugged, unless I am supposed to put in my own line-breaks? But even then, it doesn't seem to work quite right?

I also kept getting warnings when I tried to post a journal entry.  It would happen every few words.

So I'm about to create a new piece, and am offered the choices poetry, prose, prosetry, and oldif... What if it's a plain short story? Or, say, a non-fiction essay? For my particular piece, I feel like I'm short on options here...

Choose prose in all those cases (as they are, prose), you will be prompted for clarification on the next page, and further clarification on the page after.
