recommend me music
« on: March 11, 2008, 09:20:25 am »
I'm going on holiday to Spain on Friday.
It's basically going to be me and my buddies getting completely drunk for an entire week.

I would however like some new music to accompany my antics.

I'm currently downloading:
Belle & Sebastian
Camera Obscura
Of Montreal
&
We Are Scientists

Is there any particular albums of these bands I should download
and is there anyone else I should look into?

I am currently obsessed with American Indie pop

thanks

I can recommend nothing as I'm currently flirting with cross genre mash ups between; Funk and Ska, Death Metal and Jazz
AND
Polska and Black Metal

Download the Death From Above 1979 album, if you don't already have it.

Strangely dancey.

Also, hm...The Faint?  I like them, at least.

Of course, you may already have things by both these bands, rendering my post useless.  Eekkkkk.

Enon is cool. Saw them live some weeks ago.

How about Menomena?

Ricky. Martin.
There's a link there somehow, but I vehemently don't want to figure it out.
