I'm going to ask a question, and declare a bit of a conflict of interests.
I've recently 'installed' a new stats system for indyfluency. It's great stuff, and is very shiny, and actually lets you know whose myspace page is linking to you

But there is one interesting feature which has split me a bit.
With a few invisible modifications to indyfluency, I could make it track which users are online, what pages they visit, their browsers, locations, etc etc. This all seems very interesting. But I am worried about the privacy implications of turning it on. Though, if I were a user, I don't think it would bother me (this site isn't generally the place for whistle-blowing or suchlike), I have a feeling some people might object.
What do you think?
