Do you like your own writing?

I only like my writing if i finish it...

because if i am writing something, and it starts to suck... i will either stop there or throw it out or try to rewrite-it from square one... but if i actually finish a piece, then i have found something that i liked about it enough to keep writing...

unfortunately, i only finish about 1 out of every 5 or so ideas i start writing... so i've come to the conclusion that most of my ideas suck... =P

when it comes to my own writing im not very confident about it
there are loads of ideas that I just dont use or I start them and never finish them becasue I dont like it

There's just always something that can be improved in my writing, and that bothers me.  For example, the story that I'm writing now.  I wrote the first chapter and was initially pleased with it.  Upon rereading, I was still alright with it, but now I see where I should have fleshed that out and where that piece of dialogue is awkward and blah blah blah...

So I fixed it.

And then I reread it.

And that needed to be reworked and that wording was awkward and ew why did I change that it sounded WAY better the first way and so and and so forth.

It's a neverending freaking cycle!  Haha.

i enjoy the process of writing... i only let other read the final product because it's fun
