Do you like your own writing?

I don't really like my own writing but, other people do, so thats why I write.

I don't like my writing. on very rare occasion do I see something worth considering.

I only put up about a quarter of the stuff I write.

I still don't really like that quarter.

I don't know WHAT is going on with First.

It's just daunting to put up pieces to a site full of such good writers. Y'know?

Few people other than myself enjoy my own writing, though within reason. Probably 'cause I'm self centered or something. Still, hope spring eternal.

I hate most of my stuff, except sometimes I do something sooo good it gives me giggles and orgasms everytime I look at it, and that's usualy the stuff ither people end up liking too. So I have good taste! Lol

I hate my writing if I read it and actually think about what I have written,
but the way I write is Visualise-Record, so unless im thinking about what i'm reading I instantly visualise
and then I'm not to bothered about the writing because i'm too wrapped up in the fantasy lol

I hate everything I write  directly after I write it.  If I go back awhile later and look at it, I usually like it much better.  I guess I need time to adjust to...myself?  If that makes any sense, haha.

Heh.  I kinda like most of my stuff.  Every once in a while I'll just sorta write something just because it's been a while since I've written anything, but sometimes ever those come out alright [though there's a couple up there that I came back, looked at, and was all like "Man, I posted this?"].  But yeah, for the most part, I'm relatively proud of my stuff.

And I think it's important that an author can appreciate their own work.  If they can't, then that's a hell of a dissappointing life.

I never get tired of rereading and editing
it takes forever but eventualy I do get something I can really read (without visualising) and not cringe every few lines.

Just about everything I write doesn't seem good enough for me, but as mentioned before, people seem to like it...

and they ask me to write stuff for them,
so I do it.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I had one that I edited a good 15 tmes and it still needed work....I should post it sometime cuz I actually like that one a bit. It was fun.

what don't you guys like about you're writing?

The only time I don't like my stuff is when the style is all out of wack, or else the words get all clumsy and floppy and I'm like STOP BEING SO STUPID SOUNDING. but they have to be replaced.
and then its all good, ya know? I mean, I edit, but its always going back and forth on a few words, or smoothing that sentence like smoothing rugs, once you look at it its rumpled again.
